Sassy is in our Foster Care Program and available for adoption. Foster Mom Meagan reports that Sassy (on the right in the picture) is interested in playing and after a couple of tries on the sit command gave up and went to play with her pink ball. We know she will come around soon just takes lots of patients with a pup. She is a Catahoula mix, about 2 1/2 months old. To meet her, you will need to fill out an adoption application and make an appointment. We APPRECIATE you considering a shelter adoption. We do not run a heartworm test on our pets. You may request a test to be run; the fee is $8, non-refundable. We are open every day but Sunday, 10 to 4:45. Adoption fee $60 includes spaying/neutering & initial vaccinations. A rabies vaccination is not included. Upon adoption, your new pet with be scheduled with Angelina Animal Hospital for it's required spay/neuter surgery. Average 1-3 days. You may pick up your new pet directly from the Vet's office. The surgery must be completed before pick up.
